Ryan Murphy directs a beautiful, and painful tribute video to the 49 people who died at Pulse nightclub in Orland, featuring 49 celebrities

Celebrites including Lady Gaga, Caitlyn Jenner, Matt Bomer, Laverne Cox and Jane Fonda tell the stories of each of the victims, preserving their memories in the video.

Wearing black and sitting against a black backdrop, each of the 49 celebrities recites a brief biography of one of the victims, telling stories that celebrate the humanity of each of the dead, and amplify the tragedy of each of their losses.

The contributors also use the platform to call for an end to hate crimes and gun violence.
