The landmark musical Cabaret is bringing sensational nights of dance and music to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and there is chance for five lucky people to win tickets to see the show to the opening night of the show on Tuesday, October 1. As the hit song Cabaret says, “Come hear the music play. / Life is a Cabaret, old chum, / Come to the Cabaret.”

Set in 1931, Kander and Ebb’s musical Cabaret follows Sally Bowles as she takes to the stage at the Kit Kat Klub in Berlin. Rufus Norris’ revamped production of the play has gained multiple awards, with two smash-hit West End runs.

Cabaret’s 2019 UK and Ireland tour will be taking the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre stage with true style and a lot of divine decadence. The show will be running from Tuesday 1 to Saturday October 5. Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster, priced at €21, and you can purchase them here.

The five winners and their guests will have the chance to see the powerhouse of talent on stage at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Sally Bowles will be played by the legendary Kara Lily Hayworth, who was praised for her portrayal of Cilla Black in Cilla the Musical. 2018 Celebrity Masterchef winner and EastEnders’ star John Patridge will be leading the production as the character Emcee.

Singer and screen icon Anita Harris will bring the character of Fraulein Schneider to life, having previously starred as Grizabella in the West End’s Cats. Not to mention, Basienka Blake’s portraying of Fraulein Kost, Charles Hagerty as Cliff Bradshaw, James Paterson as Herr Schultz, and Nick Tizzard as Ernst Ludwig. This is a stellar line-up of talent on display.

Cabaret will showcase stunning choreography, gorgeous costumes and iconic songs. There are heaps of wonderful musical moments, including Money Makes the World Go Round, Maybe This Time, and Cabaret. The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will be bursting with nights of catchy tunes and incredible stunts.
