Dr Christian Was "Time Wasting" When Inviting Stranger For Sex and Drugs

TV doctor, Dr. Christian Jessen said that he was not serious when he invited a man he met on Grindr over to his flat for a cocktail of drugs, and no strings attached sex.

Over the weekend, The Daily Star broke the story that Jessen invited someone he met on dating app Grindr over to his flat to engage in sex and recreational drug use.

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, sent screen grabs of the text exchange to The Daily Star in which Jessen is bragging about being in possession of marijuana and GHB (a powerful illegal sedative) and mephedrone. He invited the man to his house in London, sends him the address, and adds that his roommate will be joining them to “watch porn, chill and play”. He also sent nude pictures to the man.

Jessen denies claims that the meeting took place, and says that no drugs were taken. He claims that himself and his partner were just “timewasting” by chatting to men on the gay dating app.

“On these chat sites there is a lot of timewasting and chat and silliness that never leads anywhere. My partner and I will do it on a bored evening and have conversations with no intention of meeting up. It is a bit embarrassing now thinking about it, but you quite often chat to random people.

“It is more an ego thing than anything else, could I get them or not. There is always talk of drugs, in London it is such a problem. This chap brought it up. I spend my life advising people on drugs so of course I know all about it.

“I’ve been stupid but absolutely nothing happened. There was no meeting and no drugs were taken. That is the key point. It was just horny talk really,” he concluded.

The Huffington Post has reported that Jessen is set to meet with Channel 4 bosses to discuss the scandal.
