Members of the kink and fetish scene are set to take over the Irish capital for the highly-anticipated Dublin Leather Weekend 2025. The fourth event of its kind, it will take place from January 24 to 26 and will see the coronation of the new Mr Dublin Leather and Puppy Ireland.

Leather weekends take place in major cities across the globe and provide an opportunity for people to express their fetish and kink in a safe community. Dublin Leather Weekend is an annual occurrence organised by Leathermen of Ireland, a group of volunteers committed to promoting the leather and fetish scene in the country and celebrating the beauty and diversity of the kink community.

Last year’s event saw the coronation of Irish kinkster Fionn as Mr Dublin Leather and Puppy Ripley as Puppy Ireland 2024, two outspoken members of the kink community who advocate for safe and consensual practices in the scene. This year, they will pass on their crowns to new candidates.

“It’s wonderful to say that this year marks the fourth Dublin Leather Weekend,” Fionn said, commenting on the 2025 event. “That’s in no small part thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many members of the leather community in Ireland.

“I am excited to welcome all our visitors from home and abroad and of course to crown the next Mr. Dublin Leather.”

The weekend will kick off in beloved Dublin bar Pennylane on January 24, where participants will be able to collect their registration packs and wristbands and take part in the Meet and Greet, officially launching the weekend.

The main events are set to take place on Saturday, January 25, when attendees will participate in the third annual Puppy Ireland Contest in PantiBar to choose who’s “the best boy”. The competition will be followed by the legendary Leathermen of Ireland Music Bingo, with amazing prizes in store, and a traditional Irish music session.

Weekend wristband holders will also be treated to a three-course meal at the Leather Dinner, taking place in a brand new venue this year, the Trinity City Hotel on Pearse Street.

To conclude the stunning day, the leather-clad crowd will move to DV8 Club for the main event, the Mr Dublin Leather Titleholder Competition. After electing the new Mr Dublin Leather, participants will stay for an unforgettable DJ set by X-Award winner Darklands DJ and Folsom Europe PIG Party DJ, K-PAXian.

The weekend celebrations won’t end there as on Sunday, January 26, kinksters will gather for the Leather Lunch, a recovery meal and an opportunity to catch up with friends old and new. The lunch will be followed by the beloved Drag Bingo & Boogie at The George as the perfect way to end a fabulous weekend.
