Buckle up, queens! Ireland is looking for a performer to represent the country at Europe’s largest drag festival, Queen of the Palace. To find the perfect Irish drag queen to do so, a competition is being held in Dublin on June 2, and you don’t want to miss it.

Queen of the Palace is an over-the-top festival celebrating diversity, self-expression and awesomeness. At the grand finale later this year, the Spanish city of Benidorm will witness the feats of twenty legendary queens and fresh-faced talents, with a ferocious line-up of drag acts from the most drag-centric cities worldwide expected to set the stage alight with their outstanding performances. Over three days, from November 22 to November 24, the contestants will get into a glittering battle of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent as they fight for the crown and €10,000 cash prize.

Countries across the world are heating up as each selects their queen to try to snatch the crown and sashay away with the prize. The Irish Qualifier for Queen of the Palace will take place in The Well in Dublin, offering local drag performers a chance to fight for the crown in this unique competition. The show promises a paradise of sequins, sass, and jaw-dropping talents, in a night of glamour and extravaganza.
