It looks like actress Evan Rachel Wood might be getting hot ‘n’ heavy with The L Word‘s Kate Moennig.

While neither on star has confirmed the romance, lady lovers everywhere are freaking out at the reports that these two women are an item.

The romance started with a few innocent tweets back and forth last year, which quickly turned to flirtier territory.

Innocent, right? That is until Wood posted this suggestive tweet which got the rumour mills going.

“I had a dream @katemoennig and I were stuck in a cab together for hours during pride in NY. We just fell asleep though.”

Fueling the fire even more, “a source” told PageSix that the pair were seen holding hands and getting intimate at Hammer Museum’s star studded annual Gala in the Garden in Los Angeles. The source said, “Evan Rachel Wood arrived with Kate Moennig. They were holding hands and looked very much like a couple,” and that they both “kept close all night.”

Evan Rachel Wood recently split with her husband of two years Jamie Bell, and was previously dating Marilyn Manson. In 2012,  she publically came out as bisexual.

Moennig stays more private about her personal life and refuses to discuss her sexual orientation with the press – although in the past she has been linked to women including Portia De Rossi’s ex, Francesca Gregorini.
