Whatever you’re planning on seeing in the Dublin Fringe Festival, make sure you don’t miss Closing Night this weekend, the spectacular show from events group Film Fatale.
Film Fatale, the group behind the Mean Girls screening this summer and the Masquerade Ball earlier this year, is bringing this cabaret spectacular to the stage in Theatre Royal, Liberty Hall with performances from September 15-16.
“Film Fatale are back with their new cabaret show Closing Night,” the event page reads.
“This promises to be a Cabaret show with all the sparkle, energy, fun and spectacle of their famous parties.”
However, Theatre Royale is set to close and as such, the performers will be giving it everything they got to put on the act “they always wished they could”.
“C’est finit! Auf wiedersehen! The Theatre Royale is to close. It is the end of the era of cabaret and vaudeville. Performers give one last show. Each star makes their final appearance – the act they always wished they could do.”
“Ribald, racy, compelling and hilarious, Closing Night is a narrative variety show that pays tribute to the performers of this magical era.
Hosted by cabaret superstar Dusty Limits, Closing Night explores the history of the soon to close theatre from “vaudeville, variety, showtunes and musical numbers to Burlesque and the avant garde.”
Choreographed by and starring Thomas Spratt, the show will also star Paddy Fagan, Jess Kavannagh, Rachel Tracy, Denise Goff, and many more.
Tickets to Closing Night will also get the ticket holder free entry to the ‘We Bleed Glitter’ Closing Party in Wigwam on Saturday 16.
Tickets for Closing Night cost €24 including booking fee and can be purchased on the Dublin Fringe Festival website here.
Closing Night can be seen on September 15 at 8pm and September 16 at 11pm in Theatre Royal, Liberty Hall, Dublin.
