Saturday saw the best and brightest of LGBT media descend upon the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles for the GLAAD Media Awards.
Among the big winners were those involved in the ‘Shondaland’ team, with Goddess Kerry Washington picking up the GLAAD Vanguard Award for being a straight ally, before giving a rousing speech to the packed room; while How to Get Away With Murder acquired the award for Outstanding Drama Series.
Transparent was the Outstanding Comedy Series this year, while The Imitation Game finally won something this awards season, picking up GLAAD’s Outstanding Film Award.
