Drag Race Brazil host announced as Queen of The Universe winner Grag Queen

The Queen of the Universe winner has been announced as the stunning host of the very first season of Drag Race Brazil.

Brazilian drag goddess Grag Queen has been announced to be the stunning host for the first season of Drag Race Brazil, one of the many spin-offs of the legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Crowned the winner of Queen of the Universe, a drag singing competition also produced by World Of Wonder, Grag Queen has become a recognisable icon among the worldwide drag community and many adoring fans are beyond excited to see the queen host the debut show with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

The Brazilian drag queen took to Instagram to announce the exciting news in her native language, screaming: “Rev your engines and your hearts! The world will celebrate his BRAZILIAN excellence!”. Fans and drag stars alike have flooded the post with numerous supportive comments to congratulate the musical sensation.

“You deserve the world” and “It is a tremendous legacy you are building for the entire LGBTQIA+ nation of Brazil” are just some of the congratulations that can be found throughout the comments section in the announcement post. Notable drag queens have also taken their time to congratulate the new host, with Regina Voce, a drag star competing in Drag Race Mexico, commenting: “Mi amor!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I couldn’t be happier! TE AMO CORAZÓN!”

Following her success in Queen of the Universe, Grag Queen continues to be a Brazil music icon by sharing many new tunes, with her newest song ‘Que Passa’ readily available to listen to on various music streaming platforms online.

Despite Drag Race Brazil was fist announced last year, there is still no confirmation of when the latest edition to the franchise will premiere but fans eagerly all the details on the upcoming show. Like all other Drag Race spinoffs produced by World of Wonder, the series will be globally available to watch through WOW Presents Plus, while also airing on MTV and Paramount+ in Latin America.
