Rumours have been flying around the internet that fellow Great British Bake Off competitors Michael Chakraverty and Henry Bird are dating. The pair who both appeared on the seventh season of the popular Channel 4 show together have caused quite the stir across the internet after a cute photo of them baking together was shared by co-star Alice Fevronia on her Instagram story.
The snap was screenshotted and shared across all forms of social media, with fans of the show swooning over the cute photo of the alleged couple snuggled very close together while baking at home. Adding fuel to the already raging Twitter fire, Alice captioned the photo “BAE-ke Off”, with many fans taking this as confirmation that the pair are in fact dating.

Bake Off Twitter is going wild for the new photo of the pair cosying up with each other with one fan even saying that the couple is the “best thing to come out of Bake Off 2019!”
One Twitter user even compared the two to “Call Me By Your Name” characters Elio and Oliver, with Twitter user Slade replying to their own tweet from September of this year saying; “Will repeat ?️ ?️ ?️ Elio and Oliver want what Henry and Michael have.”
The original tweet was in response to a tweet by Henry exclaiming how he was reminded how “incredibly lucky” he was to be part of the Great British Bake Off when Micheal “gives you that smile” accompanied with a picture of Micheal laughing.

While others kept it simple, expressing their excitement for the couple and wishing them well in their maybe-relationship.

There were hints that the pair may have been more than friends before, with Alice who shared the photo previously sharing a snap of herself and co-stars David, Henry and Micheal. The photo showing group happily sharing peeks on the cheek was also widely circulated and came after rumours that Alice and Henry were dating.
Alice was quick to shut down these claims though, describing Henry as a “brother from another mother” in an Instagram post. She captioned the post where Henry is seen kissing Micheal on the cheek “But how many couples do you see?” in what is assumed to be not only a nod to the gossip surrounding Henry and Alice’s supposed relationship, but also alludes to the fact that Micheal and Henry are actually dating.
Although both Henry and Micheal were well-received and liked by the audience, they have both since been eliminated from the competition. Alice who shared the photo will battle it out tonight against remaining competitors Steph and David to see who will be this year’s champion.
