Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch took to Facebook to tell homophobic trolls to stop.

Evanna Lynch, who played the sweetly positive character Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films, took to her Facebook page on Sunday to vent about the homophobia she witnessed on one of her Instagram posts.

The actress has been celebrating Ireland’s marriage referendum victory on her Instagram account and was surprised to find the number of trolls targeting her with homophobic comments.

Suffice to say the actress wasn’t pleased with some of the trolls on her post, those who were attempting to engage her in vitriolic arguments, trolling her post with homophobic comments. In turn, Evanna Lynch took to her Facebook account – a public account through which she can engage with fans – to speak out against the negativity that had descended upon her Instagram post. She encouraged those trolls to unfollow her and block her, as she wasn’t interested in debating with those spouting homophobia.
