In celebration of Pride month, DC has released its sixth annual showcase of Pride-themed covers, short stories and queer superhero representation. 2026’s project, much like previous years, aims to promote LGBTQ+ visibility and inspire new readers to get involved in the DC Comics space.

Check out some of the covers below, including one from an Irish artist!

Wonder Woman #34
The cover of
Wonder Woman #34 was illustrated by artist Fatima Wajid, who has previously worked with DC comics on other issues and Pride covers. The art features the Queen of the Amazons, Nubia of Themyscria, glistening in gold-rainbow light, charging forward with a confident side profile as doves fly past.

New Titans #36
Some bisexual representation is featured in the cover of New Titans #36. It
shows one of DC’s most famous bi characters, Jon Kent Superman, hovering over a beach while getting a suntan. Underneath him, artist Rachael Stott hid a few easter eggs. Amongst other popular LGBTQ+ characters, Superman’s friend, Bunker, is reading a book titled Boiling Enmity, a nod to the popular TV series Heated Rivalry

Emperor Aquaman #18
Comic illustrator Bruka Jones is the talent behind the DC Pride cover of
Emperor Aquaman #18. The Third Aquaman, Jackson Hyde is pictured at the top of the page, while embracing his love interest, Ha’Wea. Hyde first meets Ha’Wea in Aquaman (Vol. 8) #62, published in August 2020, the same issue in which the couple shares their first kiss.

Justice League Unlimited #20
Justice League Unlimited #20
’s cover was created by the talented Jessica Fong. The cover features Renee Montoya’s faceless vigilante known as ‘The Question’, lazing in full cowboy attire. The multi-coloured stained glass window contrasts harshly against Montoya’s dull clothing, giving a beam of prideful light to the otherwise dark drawing.

Batwoman #4
Betsy Cola is the artist who created the cover for Batwoman #4, which is steeped with symbolic imagery. Batwoman Kate Kane stands between two ancient Greek-style statues of women, perhaps a nod to Sappho and the island of Lesbos. With Kate Kane being a popular sapphic character within DC, it’s hard to pick a better character to feature in this year’s DC Pride covers.

Harley Quinn #63
Irish artist Stephen Byrne created the Harley Quinn #62
cover; it wouldn’t be a DC Pride celebration without her! The character is depicted wielding her iconic hammer with a striking action pose, contrasting against the plain white background. It’s an eye-catching piece fit for the Maid of Mischief.
