The internet world keeps growing, and so does the number of influencers, especially on TikTok. Many Irish LGBTQ+ TikTokers have raised a huge community on this platform. Their content goes from educational news or raising awareness on the queer community, to entertainment videos or relatable daily lifestyle reels.

We’ve compiled a list of our favourite LGTBQ+ TikTok creators you should definitely follow.

1. Hazel Keogh (@hazeleckeogh)
“A fake blonde in a real quarter-life crisis”. This is how Hazel Keogh describes herself in her account.

Her feed is characterized by shorts in which she shares daily reflections about lesbianism and other facts that any adult in their 20s will find relatable.

2. James Kavanagh (@jamesalankavanagh)
Irish influencer, podcaster and presenter James Kavanagh hosts The Simpler Life? With James & William, where he shares, together with his partner, their experience moving from Dublin to their new countryside house in Kilkenny. 

The TikToker also posts daily life videos as the pair navigates the experience of a new life, along with several other casual and comedy videos.

3. I’m Grand Mam (@imgrandmamx)
On their podcast I’m Grand Mam, Kevin Twomey and PJ Kirby Galang offer a fun entertainment space for great craic. The “two Irish mammy’s boys”, as they describe themselves, use their TikTok platform to share cuts of their episodes.

4. The Irish Gem (@theirishgrem)
This Irish queer creator is a foodie and travel lover, as you can easily spot all over her TikTok page. Gemma Leahy narrates things about Ireland and shares reviews on Irish pubs, restaurants and hotels. 

Embracing Irish traditions, the influencer also educates on Irish society with parody videos and other tips on how to deal with Irish people. Some of this hilarious content includes topics such as ‘Irish insults’, ‘Irish accents’, or ‘which are the best Irish compliments’. Cian Griffin is an LGBTQ+ content creator who makes the most out of his engagement to give visibility, among other queer things, to Gaeilge. Humour, revindication and sharp sarcasm are the defining traits of his account.
