It has been reported that Joan Rivers has left a huge chunk of her $150 million fortune to an AIDS charity in New York, following her death earlier this year.

The Mail Online has reported that Joan Rivers, who died during a medical procedure in September this year, has left a huge portion of her $150 million fortune to God’s Love We Deliver – a charity that delivers over 4,600 meals everyday to people living with AIDS and other illnesses across New York City, Newark and New Jersey.

Along with close family, Rivers also named several more charities in her will. It is reported that Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Jewish Guild for the Blind, the Simon Wisenthal Centre, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Jewish Home and Hospital Foundation will also receive donations.

Despite making some controversial jokes in the past, Rivers was a staunch support of gay rights. Earlier this year, Rivers officiated the wedding of two gay fans who came to meet her at a book signing.
