Meet the spooktacular judges of Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 3

Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 3 will be jump-scaring us galore on August 27 with a host of terrifically spooky guest judges.

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula will be rising out of its crypt on August 27 ready to cast some dark witchcraft over its new streaming platform – Amazon Prime. As part of the announcement on Twitter, The Boulet Brothers revealed a host of spooky guest judges lined up for season 3.

As you can imagine, a cast of spectacular ghouls requires equally ghoulish judges to match. From what has been teased, The Boulet Brothers continue to show their dedication for the cult and the strange with their judging panel selections, which may foretell what kind of demonic challenges the new uglies will face.

Felissa Rose

During the reveal of season 3’s monsters, Felissa Rose confirmed she would be a guest judge on the upcoming season. Making her film debut as Angela Baker in the 1980’s cult film Sleepaway Camp, Felissa knows her way around camp horror fun (there ain’t nothing scarier than a pun). Could her appearance on the show mean the ghouls will be going on a field trip? If so, they won’t be coming home.

Rachel True

Best known for her role of Rochelle in The Craft, Rachel True is no stranger to the Wiccan ways. She will be bringing her knowledge of dabbling in supernatural forces. Though the Brothers had a witch-themed runway in their very first episode, Rachel’s arrival might signal a frightening return to the witching hour. Are you ready for the chokers, hairspray and plaid skirts?

Darren Stein

Openly gay director Darren Stein will be making his frightful return to the show. He left his claw marks in the comedy genre with cult classic Jawbreaker and horror comedy All About Evil. Jawbreaker gave us legendary quotes such as “Satan in heels”, “Learn it, live it, love it”, and “Can you say ‘freak’?”. The movie is an iconic entry into the ‘mean girls’ genre. Darren’s appearance in the season may mean we will witness an epic battle of the babes.

Cig Neutron

Cig Neutron knows how to survive reality TV having won Face Off All Stars. Known for making sleazy monsters, he is a master of special effects and nightmarish creatures. SFX makeup is nothing our monsters aren’t familiar with, flashing back to Victoria Black’s jawdropping (literally) cenobite look. Yet how will the new monsters fare against a pro and what thrilling advice will he have for them? You can expect this episode to bring the glam and gore in bucketloads.

Henry Rollins

The epic Henry Rollins is confirmed to be guest judging on the upcoming season. His background ranges from being a songwriter, musician, actor, radio presenter, comedian and activist. With a beastly grimoire of talent behind him, the ghoulies must be quaking. Having done a rock music themed challenge last season, might we see a deadly alternative-metal floorshow? One shivers at the thought of possibly some spoken word pieces, picturing Tatianna meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Also there are some rumors that the following two horror pros will be starring as guest judges:

Bonnie Aarons

The horrifying demon Valak from The Conjuring 2 and The Nun is rumored to be making an appearance. Bonnie Aarons is also known for her roles in The Princess Diaries and Mulholland Drive. She is a legendary character actress who embodied one of the scariest monsters to grace the silver screen. Her arrival on the show may summon a host of demonic creature looks.

Milly Shapiro

Star of the 2018 horror movie Hereditary, Milly Shapiro is another rumored guest judge. Her role as Charlie Graham was the most compelling performance of the year. She has also starred as Matilda Wormwood in the Broadway adaption of Matilda. It will be interesting to see what she will bring to the show. Possibly a drag family resemblance challenge inspired by Hereditary?

Sadly, Biqtch Puddin, season 2’s crowned supermonster, has confirmed on The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Instagram comment section that she will not be making an appearance in season 3.

With the first ever drag super king, Landon Cider, competing and a range of nightmarish talent on display, this season of the Boulet Brothers’ Dragula is going to be the best yet – giving us our full undead scream queen fantasy.
