Lady Gaga flawlessly channels her hero, David Bowie, for an all-star tribute performance at last night’s Grammy Awards.
The Grammys are the biggest night on the music calendar, so it’s only fitting that tribute is paid to one of the most influential rockstars of all time, and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award 2006 recipient, David Bowie.
David Bowie’s death last month shocked the music industry – so it was a no brainer that the Grammy stage would be the perfect time to pay homage to Ziggy Stardust . Who better than Lady Gaga, who cites Bowie as her biggest inspiration.
Lady Gaga’s psychedelic tribute, complete with projections, costume changes, moving mechanical piano and guest guitarist Nile Rodgers made Twitter blow up with praise:
.@ladygaga, that was so great. You're always going to another level. #GRAMMYs
