Cork LGBT Choir Nominated For International Music Award

Cork’s equality choir, Choral ConFusion has been nominated for the “My So Called Gay Life” International Music Award.

 
 
Choral Con Fusion original song and video “We Love The Same – A Song For Equality” has been shortlisted alongside, Eurovision Winner Mans Zelmerlow, Kylie Minogue and Joseph Gordon Levitt, to mention but a few.

“We Love The Same” was released in March 2015, to raise funds and awareness for the Yes Equality campaign during Ireland’s historic Marriage Equality referendum. The single topped the download charts in Ireland and the #WLTS #welovethesame photo campaign that went with it, featured a host of famous faces and went viral across the world. Choral ConFusion LGBTS Choir went on to win the GALA 2015 award for Entertainment Personality of the Year and this international award nomination has capped what has been a fantastic year for the community choir.

The winner will be chosen by online public vote. Choral Con Fusion LGBTs Inclusive Choir is the only Irish nominee for this award and you can vote for them on the website once every 12 hours.
