Now that the month of love is just around the corner, it’s time to add to your calendar all the best upcoming queer events. Check out our curated selection of LGBTQ+ events happening around Ireland this February.  

Faithfully Queer
February 18 – Dublin City Centre
ShoutOut is launching Faithfully Queer, their new resource that explores the coexistence of religious faith and LGBTQ+ identities. Whether you are queer, a person of faith or just curious, everybody is welcome to join this activity of insightful chats provided in an uplifting space.

Girls Room Valentine’s event
February 14- The Workmans Cellar, Dublin
Celebrate Valentine’s with a bang by joining this Galentines event. Whether you go with your other half or solo, this party is all about celebrating friendship and love in all its forms. Attendees will be able to choose from a wide range of activities such as disco, tarot and massages. There will also be a playroom where you can play games, get your portrait done or even get crafty yourself. As if it wasn’t enough, additional pop-ups will include a tattoo station and tooth gems. 

For the ones who are still searching for love, there’s a dedicated group to connect with other people attending and arrange some pre-drinks. 

You can buy your €15 ticket via Eventbrite or at the door. 

 

Stay at the Hendricks for Valentine’s
Spend a wonderful Valentine’s weekend at The Hendrick’s Street Art Hotel and enjoy its particulate unique art form of graffiti and street art.

To get to see their extensive collection of urban art, make sure you visit all of their floors, starting in the main lobby and working your way up to the fifth floor. It will be a staycation with a very distinctive touch. 

 

Bridgid’s cross making Teach Solais
February, 1 – Teach Solais LGBT+ Resource Centre
Spend a Saturday afternoon crafting Bridgid’s crosses in an LGBTQ+ social space. Supplies are already provided, so you only have to focus on having a good time.

Acéphale Cabaret
February 27- Fibber Magees Basement
If you are more of a night owl in love with music, this queer David Bowie Tribute won’t disappoint you. Acéphale Cabaret will offer a lineup of drag superstars who will be performing Bowie classics for all their rock’n’roll fans. 

There will also be an astonishing market with the best local independent traders. You can buy the €10 entrance tickets at the door.

 

Queer Valentine’s Party
February, 7 – Eden Quay, Dublin
Dykon and Aphrodisiac are teaming up to bring you an unforgettable WLW Valentine’s celebration! Expect the coolest night event with two floors of live music, DJs spinning Afrobeats, Amapiano, RnB, Pop, and much more!

If you’d like to meet new people beforehand, join their group chat and connect before the night. Don’t forget to buy your ticket! 

 

LGBTQ+ Midlands Mixer event
February 8- Mullingar
The Hazy Rainbow LGBTQ+ social group will also be celebrating romance by bringing together Pride groups from all over the Midlands and beyond for the first-ever Midlands Mixer in Mullingar!

Expect good vibes, great pizza, live music, a raffle and plenty more, and donations will go towards this year’s Longford Pride festival in June.

Dublin Sapphic Social
Every Friday- Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre
Sapphic Social offers coffee and chats for LGBTQ+ Women every Friday.  If you don’t have any plans for the end of your working week, this might be the perfect queer event for relaxing and meeting new people this February. 

 

Irish dancing and Céilí lessons
February 4- Sycamore Building, Dublin
LGBTQ+ community members are invited to learn Irish dancing in this 6-week term dancing class. Starting on February 4, this LGBTQ+ event welcomes all levels of experience, so don’t worry if you think you might be too clumsy. The safest environment is provided and great fun is ensured.

Your Mind Matters, a Painted exploration and well-being workshop
February 2- Street 66, Dublin
Lolo’s Design’s project Your Mind Matters is a painted exploration and well-being workshop for all the queer art lovers. 

The topic of the workshop will be “Queer Jounery Timeline”, an art piece by a queer person for queer people. Lolo deeply believes that creativity and the wonders of process painting contain many healing properties. This is how this idea came alive, from the need to share this energy and the benefits of exploring queerness through art.

Drag Show & Clubnight
Saturday 8- The Bernard Shaw
The Dublin Drag King Collective presents… The Revolution is Coming! A night of unapologetic drag king cabaret followed by queer dancing, chats and pints. Can it get any better?

I Wouldn’t Mind Control, a psychological sci-fi thriller
February 22 and 23 – Smock Alley Theatre
Rock Bottom Saloon will present I Wouldn’t Mind Control, a psychological sci-fi thriller, which was announced as part of Scene + Heard Festival’s 2025 Programme.

The play follows the story of Daniel Lanigan, a queer and non-binary journalist who struggles with mental health. Their whole life seems about to change when they meet Dr. Morpheus O’Neill, a charming entrepreneur who wants to save the world with his experimental new invention.

I Wouldn’t Mind Control is a play about OCD, an often misunderstood mental health disorder, that also interrogates our modern relationship to therapy and our fears surrounding AI. It is a hyperbolic, unnerving, funny, and chaotic exploration of health tech and the brain.

February 3 – The Grand Social, Dublin
Four of the hottest artists from across Ireland have come together to play the sexiest gig Dublin has ever seen. All Girls Piss, The Anmiotics, Fillmore and Poppercherry will join their talent for this bottom surgery fundraising.
