Sam Smith revealed his new version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas via Twitter on Saturday.

Smith croons the song in only a way he could manage. The video is moody and dark and there isn’t a shiny ball in sight.

Earlier this  week, the singer was nominated for a total of six Grammy awards, including Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.
