Today, rising Hip-Hop and R&B songstress Lizzo announces her ‘Cuz I Love You Too’ European tour.
Channelling boundless self-confidence through a downright earth-quaking voice, colourful persona, and undeniable star power, Lizzo struts into the spotlight and steps up with a whole lot of sass, spirit, and soul.
Embracing her vocal range like never before and celebrating herself to the fullest, she speaks her mind, censors nothing, and delivers an enviable level of honesty, pure passion, and fresh fire.
“I want you to hear my songs and feel a connection to me,” she says. “I hope you can apply what I’m saying to your own life and maybe have a better day. Share this experience with me. Celebrate who you are. If I can change the world for the better one song at a time, I’m cool.”
When and Where?
The dates will see the ‘Juice’ and ‘Truth Hurts’ singer perform in 9 cities across Europe kicking off in Paris on November 4 and concluding in Copenhagen on November 19 with a Dublin date on November 10. She will be playing in the Olympia Theatre with doors opening at 7 pm.
It is unlikely that any extra dates will be announced as she is heading straight from Dublin to Manchester on November 11 so make sure you snap tickets fast!
When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on general sale on Friday, July 12 at 10 am on Ticketmaster, usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide (list here) including The Olympia Theatre Box Office, and by calling Ticketmaster at The Olympia Phone Bookings on 0818 719 330 and are priced from €39.50.
There will be a Spotify presale which starts on Wednesday, July 10 at 9 am. This presale opportunity is sent to people who are ‘Top Fans’ of Lizzo on Spotify, essentially people who listen to Lizzo’s music on Spotify a lot. Top fans will receive an email from Spotify with an access code.
It’s unclear how easy it is to make sure you are one of the lucky ones to receive a Spotify presale code but one thing to make sure is that you have set up notifications and emails for ‘Artist Updates’ in your settings.
Where else is she playing on her European Tour?
If you miss out on tickets for her Dublin dates, don’t despair. It is just an opportunity to go on a city break! She is also playing Paris, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Check Ticketmaster for details of ticket release dates for these shows.
LET’S GO LIZZBIANS!!!!
