Spring is in the air, so it’s time to start thinking about those summer plans. And what better way to mark Pride this year than with an epic celebration? Mother has just announced the lineup for its incredible Pride Block Party 2025, and rest assured, this is one not to miss!
Returning to the legendary location at the National Museum of Ireland in Collins Barracks, this year’s Mother Pride Block Party is set to take place on June 28 to mark Dublin Pride. Featuring three stages, fairground rides, and multiple bars, the event promises a full-on festival atmosphere blending music, arts, food, drink and, above all, Pride.
The lineup for the 2025 Mother Pride Block Party features an eclectic mix of international and national talent. Headlining the mainstage is globally renowned DJ and producer The Blessed Madonna, famous for genre-defying sets, deep-rooted love of disco, house, and techno, and her fierce commitment to inclusivity on the dancefloor.
She will be joined on stage by none other than drag legend Trixie Mattel for a very special DJ set. After competing in the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and winning season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, she’s ready to bring all that joyful energy to the Mother Pride Block Party.
And if they weren’t enough special guests, Ireland’s own pop sensation Samantha Mumba will also make an appearance, bringing her chart-topping music to the main stage.
Throughout the festival, many more incredible artists will be performing across all stages. The full lineup will include the beloved Mother DJs, Sing Along Social, Haus of Wig, Drag Aerobics and more.
This year’s event will also see a new collaboration with The Sweatbox Stage. Revellers can expect a fierce blend of thumping techno, house, electro, and club chaos in true Sweatbox style, with a whole stage dedicated to this high-energy, all-sweat-no-regrets queer rave.
Partnering with brands such as Absolut, Heineken, Red Bull and Barefoot Wine, Mother will have plenty of options to keep the party going. Tickets for this incredible event are set to go on sale on Friday, April 4, at 10am.
Announcing this incredible event, Mother co-founder Cormac Cashman said: “Pride 2025 isn’t just another party — it’s a landmark moment. We’re celebrating a decade of Marriage Equality and Gender Recognition in Ireland, and we’re doing it the way our community knows best: loud, proud, and together on the dancefloor. Pride is still protest, still joy, still resistance — and it’s never meant more.”
The Mother Pride Block Party is one of the biggest annual fundraising drives for GCN, Ireland’s national LGBTQ+ media and Mother’s long-standing charity partner. Welcoming the announcement of this year’s event, GCN’s Manager Stefano Pappaladro said: “We’re super excited for the return of the Mother Pride Block Party! For 15 years, Mother has been at the heart of Dublin’s queer club scene, and every year, the team raises the bar to deliver an unforgettable event. GCN has been the club’s main charity partner since the very beginning, and we’re extremely grateful for their continued support. This year’s Pride Block Party boasts an incredible lineup and it promises to be an unmissable event in your Pride calendar. See you all there!’
Tickets from €47.50 plus booking will go on sale via Eventbrite, on Friday, April 4, at 10am.
