We caught up with JT Pim’s deputy manager Chris Simon and quizzed him about Dublin’s fair city.

We caught up with deputy manager, Chris Simon, this month and asked him a few question about our fair city.

1. In ten words or less tell us why you love doing business in Dublin town?
There’s a small town vibe in this international cosmopolitan city.

2. The most gay-friendly haunt in the city, apart from the scene
The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, especially when there a big West End touring show in town.

3. If you could one thing to improve Dublin, what would it be?
I’d improve public transport. More Luas lines, more frequent trains, and new bus companies to compete with Dublin Bus!

4.Who is your favourite Dubliner, alive or dead?
Willie Bermingham who founded ALONE highlighting the plight of old people living alone in Dublin.

5. Hidden gem in the city?
The Iveagh Gardens – so few people go there compared to the other parks.

6.Your favourite thing about your street.
Look up above the shop fronts for some fabulous old-style architecture.

7. What’s your top tip for tourists?
Go for a walk on Howth Head or Bray Head – both only a short train ride from city centre and the views are amazing.
