Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle is the 2026 Giftmas Star for Dundrum Town’s festive celebration, which will take place on Thursday, November 5. At 6pm Coyle will unveil the new Christmas light scheme and treat locals to a performance of some of her biggest hits in the Town Square.
Speaking about the event, Coyle said, “Christmas shopping is so much more special when you can take your time, explore the shops and find something that genuinely reminds you of the person you’re buying for. I’m really looking forward to joining everyone at Dundrum Town for Giftmas Day, performing beneath the chandeliers and helping to switch on the Christmas lights. It’s going to be such a brilliant way to start the festive season.”
After a popular reception in 2025, the life-size advent calendar will make a welcome return. This year it will be hosted by performer and drag artist Paul Ryder, who will embody the must-see Mrs Claus.

In anticipation, Ryder said, “I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting the Live Advent Calendar this Giftmas Day. There are some fantastic prizes waiting behind those doors, and I can’t wait to meet the shoppers, build the excitement and bring a little Mrs Claus glamour to Dundrum Town! It will be a full day of surprises, laughter and festive fun.”
The live advent calendar will run from 12pm to 4pm, then again from 6pm to 9pm, and Dundrum Town shoppers will be in with the chance of winning gifts from retailers including Brown Thomas, Schuh, Swarovski, Boots and more.
Also returning this year is the Giving Tree, in partnership with Children in Hospital Ireland. Anyone can purchase a suggested gift and leave it unwrapped at the bottom of the Giving Tree to provide a present for a child who may not make it home for Christmas.
In 2025, over 1,500 gifts were generated by the Giving Tree, and they hope to exceed this number in 2026. Donations will be accepted at the Giving Tree until December 22.
On Giftmas Day (November 5), Dundrum Town visitors can not only enjoy a live performance from the iconic Nadine Coyle, but they can also avail of savings of up to 20% across participating retailers and extended opening hours until 10pm. What better way to get ahead on the imminent Christmas shopping?
