There’s a special kind of electricity in the air when a queer night is built by the community, for the community. No corporate bs, no tokenism, just real care, serious tunes, and a dancefloor that feels like coming home. That’s exactly what’s brewing with Peach x Dyke Night, a new collaboration happening in Dublin on Friday, April 25, at Hen’s Teeth. This isn’t just a party. It’s a moment. A love letter to chosen family, dykey energy, and the kind of queer joy that can only come from community-led spaces.
Two queer collectives, one shared vision
The collab first sparked at Dyke Night, where Kate Brennan Harding, broadcaster, DJ and the founder of Peach had been playing some standout sets. If you were there, you know: the kind of sets that lift the whole room, make strangers dance like old friends, and leave glitter (and serotonin) on your skin for days. After one of those sets, Kate got chatting with Val from Dublin Lesbian Line. They clicked immediately – not just musically, but in their shared values. Both were passionate about queer nightlife, lesbian visibility, and doing things with intention. What followed was simple but rare: they decided to collaborate, not compete. To build something together.
Founded by Kate, Peach is proudly homegrown and all about queer excellence, immaculate vibes, and music that moves you literally and emotionally. And that matters. Because Dublin’s queer scene still doesn’t have enough spaces that centre queer women, trans, and non-binary people. While there are some amazing people putting on excellent nights like Dykon and HONEYPOT, Peach x Dyke Night is stepping in to say: we deserve more nights and more gathering. We deserve to take up space loudly, joyfully, and without apology.
This collaboration also doubles as a partial fundraiser for Dublin Lesbian Line (DLL), a vital volunteer-run charity supporting LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people across Ireland. DLL has long been vocal about the urgent need for more lesbian-led and lesbian-inclusive spaces in Dublin, a mission that aligns closely with what Kate has been building through Peach. “It’s not just about dancing,” says Val. “It’s about visibility, about care, and about putting money and energy back into the community. DLL do incredible work, and we’re proud this night can support that.”
The vibe on April 25? New York meets Dublin 8. Think warehouse party energy meets queer block party warmth. A little grit, a lot of glam. A mix of house, techno, and pop that refuses to pick a lane because queerness isn’t one thing either. Expect an electric, genre-bending lineup curated with care. Expect outfits that go off. Expect a crowd that knows how to hype each other up, not tear each other down. Most of all, expect intention: gender-neutral toilets, a zero-tolerance policy for bullshit, and a clear emphasis on consent and community care. This is a night where you can be loud, soft, weird, sexy, heartbroken, in love – whatever you need to be.

A platform for queer talent
Kate has long been passionate about discovering new music and elevating emerging queer talent. With Peach, she has created a space where that isn’t a side project; it’s part of the point. This collab is no different. It’s not just a party, it’s a platform – a stage for queer DJs to shine, to experiment, to connect with a crowd that gets it. It’s what happens when femme and gender-diverse creativity isn’t just included, it’s centred.
“We’re constantly told there’s only room for one kind of queer night at a time,” says Val. “This night pushes back against that. It says: we’re here, we’re many, and we’re making space for each other and we are lifting each other up”.
Queer nightlife has always been about more than dancing. It’s where we come out. Where we fall in love. Where we meet the people who will become our support systems where blood family falls short. That’s what Peach x Dyke Night is aiming to create; not just a good night out, but something that ripples outward. A space where you can find your people, your power, your peace.
This might be our first time collaborating, but the energy around it feels bigger. It feels like a signal of what’s possible when we build together instead of waiting for someone else to make room. So whether you’re a Dyke Night or Peach regular, a first-timer, or someone still figuring out where you fit in the queer world, this night is for you. Bring your mates. Bring your best look. Bring your full self. Because this isn’t just a party. It’s a love letter. And you’re invited.
