Many a Pride party will take place before and after the parade this June 28, and there will be dancing queens in their droves at the pubs and clubs all weekend. Heres some tips for the DJs, not to mention a few tunes we reckon will give your Pride playlist the required amount of sparkle.

1. Pride – Cher

A more apt Cher track would be hard to find.

2. Carry On – Martha Wash

Perfect for belting out on the parade route.

3. Sissy That Walk – RuPaul

For your proudest strut.

4. Something That New – Girls Aloud

Go gays go-go-go-go!

5. Don’t Rain On My Parade – Barbra Streisand

Seriously. Don’t.

6. Voulez Vous – ABBA

Pride just requires some disco ABBA.

7: I Am What I Am – Gloria Gaynor

Or else Pride isn’t worth a damn!

8: Vogue – Madonna

For your yearly attempt to vogue with the best of them.

9: Relax – Frankie Goes To Hollywood

80s nostalgia and gay history combined!

10: Spinning Around – Kylie Minogue

For those risking short-shorts in Irish weather.
