Portia de Rossi put those break up rumours to rest as she treated her wife Ellen Degeneres to a special surprise on their sixth wedding anniversary.

It’s been six whole years since TV superstar Ellen Degeneres (56) tied the knot with Australian actress Portia de Rossi (41) in a ceremony in California. The two seem more in love than ever, as Portia surprised her wife with a skywriter who simply wrote ‘Six’ in the sky to mark the big day.

Ellen posted a selfie of the two with the skywriting in the background on her Twitter account yesterday.

Just last month, gossip sites reported that Portia and Ellen’s relationship was on the rocks and that Ellen’s “controlling ways” drove Portia to alcohol abuse.
However, a source close to the talk show host said, “Ellen is very supportive of Portia and has no intentions of leaving her.”
