The fabulous crew at Tropical Popical are celebrating the time-honoured tradition of Galentine’s Day (the day before Valentine’s, where you celebrate the women in your life) with an incredible initiative. The nail salon is inviting members of the public to swing by and donate tampons and pads to be distributed to those who need them via Homeless Period Ireland.
When: Wednesday, February 13 – but also any day. Tropical Popical is always a drop-off location ready to accept donations.
Where: Tropical Popical, 28 South William Street, Dublin 2.
Love Nest – A Valentine’s Day Gathering
“The Love Nest is an immersive art installation and social experiment, breathing new life into club culture in Dublin. H&G strive to create an alternate reality inside one of Dublin’s most popular night-life spaces, transforming it from the ground up into a cosy, rose-tinted haven for the curious, kindred spirits of our fair city.”
The evening will be full of delightful surprises like music, talks, bio glitter station/makeup station, cuddle puddle sexy spot prizes, confetti, a love nest art installation, fancy dress, a love letter station, cupcakes, spectacles and surprises. This is probably one of the coolest queer events we’re excited for this year.

Fat Blokes
“Fat Blokes is a (sort of) dance show about flab, double chins and getting your kit off in public by artist and forward facing fatso, Scottee. Fat Blokes uncovers why fat men are never sexy but always funny, always the ‘before’ but never the ‘after’ shot.
