Shakira told Billboard magazine that the only reason she gets hot and heavy with Rihanna in their new video, was because her beau won’t let her rub up on guys.

The Colombian singer has been in a relationship with footballer Gerard Pique since 2010, and the pair welcomed their first child into the world early last year. Some might say that having a child together is a pretty big commitment, but looks like Pique is still a bit insecure about Shakira being around other men.

Shakira said, “He’s very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women.”

She added, “It’s more than implied in our relationship that I can’t do videos like I used to. It’s out of the question — which I like, by the way.

“I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person that he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna.”
