That’s right Kylie fans, the pint-sized pop princess will be releasing her new single Into The Blue on March 16, with a full length album to follow later this year.
Her 12th studio album is not likely to disappoint, with a some of pop’s biggest hitmakers landing their names in the credits. Among the producers and songwriters contributing their pop genius to the album is Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Charli XCX, No Doubt), MNEK (The Saturdays, Little Mix), Greg Kurstin (Tegan & Sara, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding) and Pharrell “needs no introduction” Williams.
Lead single ‘Into The Blue’ is described as a “euphoric return to the dancefloor” and was penned by Kelly Sheehan, a songwriter who has worked with Beyonce, Justin Bieber and Rita Ora.
The 45 year-old has been hard at work all last year. Talking about her new record, Kylie said, “2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I’m so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music . Into The Blue is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling – I can’t wait for it to be out there.”
We can’t wait either!
