Sam Smith is the latest celebrity to get his own wax work at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco.

After modelling for hours for wax sculptures, and even donating clothes and jewellery to his wax doppelganger – the finished product was finally revealed yesterday at Madame Tussauds San Francisco.

“The process was so fascinating and I will never look at a wax figure in the same way again,” he said. “Thank you Madame Tussauds, and hope you all have fun. Feel free to squeeze my wax bum!”

Sam Smith attended the unveiling yesterday, and he was so excited he pretty much live Instagrammed the entire thing.

“I can’t actually believe that I’m going to be in Madame Tussauds. This is the ultimate ‘pinch yourself’ moment,” he said.
