‘It’s All About Love’ at the world’s first LGBT Matchmaking Festival hosted by Panti Bliss, as part of the historic 157 year old Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival, Co.Clare Ireland.

After the success of last year’s event, visitors from around the world are on their way back to Lisdoonvarna village in Co. Clare in the West of Ireland. The world famous 157 year old Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival is going gay for the second year in a row.

Host Panti Bliss can’t wait to go back, saying, “Who’d have thought bringing a bunch of gays down to a small country village in the West of Ireland would have been such great craic?! Oh that’s right… everybody”.

As part of the festival this year, there will be ‘An Evening with Brian Kennedy’ live in The Hydro Ballroom. He said, “I’m honoured to be part of the soundtrack of change on the island of Ireland for the LGBT Community. Can’t wait to sing for you all and let’s see how many hearts find a home.”

Mr Gay World 2014, Stuart Hatton Jr, will also be making an appearance. Hatton, a professional ballroom, classical and latin American dance champion and the reigning Mr Gay UK and runner up at Mr Gay Europe 2014 will be on hand for an afternoon Tea Dance on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Hatton said, “I am very much looking forward to seeing you all in class where we can all get up close and personal and enjoy an afternoon of dancing in the west of Ireland.”

With his own style and flair, our very own Brendan Courtney will be on hand to bring back ‘Blind Date’ Cilla Black style to the heart of The Outing Lisdoonvarna. It’s all about love this year and he will help you find that special someone…
