Support TENI's Spring Breaker

Sponsor Clodagh Leonard as she gives up alcohol to raise money for Transgender Equality Network Ireland.

Spring Break is a fundraising initiative that encourages participants to seek sponsorship for the challenging yet rewarding task of taking a break from alcohol for the month of April.

In TENI’s recent study, Speaking from the Margins: Trans Mental Health and Wellbeing in Ireland, 65% of participants reported a consumption of alcohol that was high enough to suggest that there may be harmful levels of alcohol use in our community. We wanted to raise awareness about this issue so we teamed up with Alcohol Forum alongside Aware and Spun Out for this year’s Spring Break Fundraising Drive.

TENI intern Clodagh Leonard (above) has stepped up to carry the torch and volunteered to go without alcohol for the month of April. You can sponsor her efforts via her fundraising page which can be found here. All money raised by Clodagh will be split equally between the Alcohol Forum and TENI.

If you would personally like to participate in Spring Break, you can set up your own fundraising page here. Just remember to select TENI as your partner charity to ensure that we will benefit from your efforts!
