With the launch of The Circle season two comes a brand new daily review podcast, The Circle Unofficial Podcast. Recorded straight after each episode, the Irish podcast releases a new show the next morning from Sunday to Thursday with an extended version available on Saturday. The six podcasts released each week feature exclusive guests, superfans and interviews with some of the latest blocked players. Previous guests include Emelle who was blocked first this year and Mairead and Sinead from season one. Katie, who played as her son Jay featured on Saturday, October 12 episode.
In a show where anyone can be anyone, the hosts don’t hold back from the truth by giving a no-holds look at each episode. This is the first podcast from Seamus who has previously presented the breakfast show for Belfast radio station, Blast 106.
Speaking about The Circle Unofficial Podcast, Seamus said, “I was a massive fan of the show last year and always thought a The Circle podcast would make watching the show even more fun so I decided to start one. We have lots of great guests lined up for the show and can’t wait to see what happens on this season. Like half the nation, I’m already glued to my TV each night and love seeing our own Paddy doing so well.”
The Circle season two launched on September 24 and will run for just over three weeks. The reality show features players living separately in an apartment building but connected to a social network called The Circle. Since the players can’t see each other, they can pretend to be anyone they want in the hopes of being voted the most popular and winning £100k. Season two brings a new host Emma Willis and sees the introduction of live shows.
The Circle Unofficial Podcast is available now on iTunes, Spotify GoLoud and Soundcloud and will run until the Channel 4 show ends. To find out all the latest news, follow @thecircleunpodcast on Facebook and Instagram.
