Olympic diver Tom Daley and Oscar winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black shared the video from their wedding which tastefully recreates their big day.

The video, released yesterday, coincides with the newlyweds’ honeymoon and the power couple have announced that proceeds from the video will go to LGBT+ charities to help improve life for future LGBT+ people.

“Our honeymoon feels like the perfect time to finally share our magical day,” Tom writes on YouTube.

“We know our wedding was only possible thanks to the brave work of countless people for generations before us, so in that tradition, we will donate any revenue from this video to the ‘LGBT+ Switchboard’ and ‘It Gets Better’ in hopes of making things even better for future generations.”

After announcing their engagement in October 2015, Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black were wed in May this year, with the ceremony taking place in the English countryside.

Tasteful

The wedding video is tasteful and stripped back, with gorgeous slow motion shots of the two families preparing to celebrate the special occasion paired with the picturesque surrounds of Bovey Castle in Devon.

The ceremony itself is captured briefly with shots of the couple kissing and embracing.

In the video, Dustin and Tom talk about what being with each other as a couple means to them and how important they are to one another.

“Within the first few minutes of conversation with Lance, things suddenly had massively changed for me. I fell in love,” Tom Daley admits.

“When I’m with him, I feel like I can take on the world.”

Dustin speaks about his instant recognition that in Tom he had found a partner who could keep up with him:

“When Tom and I met four years ago, I knew instantly I was in trouble. I knew I’d met my match,” Dustin says.

“I’d met someone who would inspire me, someone who I could admire, but also somebody who, naturally, would be my best friend.”
