A transgender girl who found fame at age 6 on the TV show 20/20, has uploaded a video to YouTube urging people to accept everyone for who they are.
Jazz, who featured in her own Oprah Winfrey Network documentary in 2011, said “A lot of transgender people are treated unfairly. It’s upsetting to know there are still prejudiced people who don’t accept others”.
In an eloquent speech, she added “When some people say we don’t appreciate God’s creation, or argue that the Bible doesn’t say LGBTQ people are ethical, I get confused”.
The 13 year-old who keeps her surname and exact location in the US a secret for safety reasons, also posted a video of her answering questions from the public.
The prolific teen has had significant involvement in promoting change in the trans community, founding the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, and writing a book, I Am Jazz.
