Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz, along with fellow competitors Blu Hydrangea and Divina De Campo, was performing a live number of their version of the song ‘Break Up’ in their girl group, Frock Destroyers, when disaster struck.
The Frock Destroyers were formed during the fifth episode of the season when the remaining queens were split into two teams and challenged to record vocals and perform their own versions of the same song. The Frock Destroyers won by a landslide, with their combination of earth-shattering whistle tones, snatched choreography and plenty of self-referencing jokes lanced throughout.
The song was so popular in fact that the girls have been performing it live at shows, just like the one last night in Birmingham where Baga claims she was “attacked”.
As the song approached the chorus, one of the club’s air cannons went off right beside Baga’s head causing the hilarious moment that is now being shared across all platforms.

Poor Baga Chipz was in her own words “attacked” by the club’s pyrotechnics that went off during the performance completely annihilating her styled wig and leaving her stunned to silence, a very rare occurrence for the outgoing queen.
After a clip of the incident was posted on Twitter, fans and Ru girls alike have been having a field day sharing the video at Baga’s expense.
Nahhh Baga got blown to a different space time continuum I’m creasing ?? https://t.co/XznXaHRFZO

Drag Race UK star Sum Ting Wong shared the video saying that she believes the clip is highlight-reel worthy while another Twitter users claimed the group were robbed of a Grammy nomination.
If this video doesn’t make it into some sort of season 1 highlights reel I’m going to go off! https://t.co/D3iR9eDj7i

Baga was a good sport about all the memes but unfortunately, it seems as though her luck hasn’t improved, with her tweeting out that just hours after almost being blown off stage she had also been “attacked” by a revolving door.

Baga Chipz is known for her quick wit and sense of humour and already has her own catchphrase. This incident and the way she handled it will just be another in the long list of hilarious thing the queen is known for. Baga has made it to the top three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and will battle it out against other remaining finalists The Vivienne and Divina De Campo tonight!
