WATCH: Cork Pride Announces Theme With Heart-Warming Video

The theme for this year's Cork Pride has been announced as "This Is Me" alongside a video featuring members of Cork's vibrant LGBT+ community.

Cork Pride is always a highlight in the rainbow calendar, with the legendary parade being an unmissable LGBT+ event of the year.

The theme this year has been announced as ‘This Is Me’ and they have released a video alongside the announcement saying:

We’re delighted to announce the theme for this year’s Cork Pride Festival is #ThisIsMe

“Cork has such a unique, diverse and multicultural LGBT+ community and we couldn’t be prouder!

“No matter what your sexuality or how you identify, you are beautiful just the way you are!

“So come to join us from Sunday, July 29th – Sunday, August 5th for the Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival and celebrate your Pride in who you are!”

The video features members of Cork’s LGBT+ community talking about their hobbies.

Taking place at the end of July, Cork Pride just a little over a month away and the south of Ireland will be alive with colour as people take to the streets in their droves to celebrate everything LGBT+.

 

Pride isn’t just confined to the big smoke or the rebel county, so don’t worry if you can’t make it to either, there are plenty of festivals happening all over Ireland.

Dundalk Outcomers paint the town in rainbow colours from July 9. There will be events galore, culminating in a family fun day in the Outcomers’ courtyard on July 14.

Good times are guaranteed up North. Winners of 2017 Event of the Year at the Gala Awards, Belfast Pride will make a triumphant return from July 27 to August 5. Future details will be available at www.belfastpride.com. 

City of the Tribes, Galway, bursts with pride from August 13 to 19. The county will be out in force bringing the Pride season to a fine close. Be sure to check www.galwaypride.com for updates.
