Demi Lovato has been busy lately, fighting for the rights of her LGBT friends and family. She has filmed a public service announcement for Human Rights Campaign calling for equal rights for LGBT people.

 
In the 45 second clip, the former Disney star says, “I believe that love comes in all different shapes, sizes and colors. So whether you’re LGBT or straight, your love is valid, beautiful and an incredible gift. Let’s protect and strengthen the institution of marriage by allowing loving, caring, committed same-sex couples to legally marry.”

The PSA comes after the singer released a music video for her song Really Don’t Care, which was filmed entirely at Los Angeles Pride last month. Weeks later, at New York city pride, Lovato performed the song while two male dancers kissed on stage holding cut out’s of Russian president Vladimir Putin’s face.
