Tom Daley took to the pool once again – not to dive, but to learn the basics of synchronised swimming.

This was to celebrate FINA – swimming governing body – allowing men to perform in a previously all-female event.

Joined by Olympian and Aquabatix performer Katie Fried, Daley goes through the basics of synchronised swimming and finally, performs a routine.

The 2015 World Aquatics Championships – which are set to be held in Russia – will be the first international synchronised swimming competition in which men are allowed to compete.

The out Olympic medal winner expresses how difficult the performance is, even for someone as experienced in the water as he is.
