Predrinks at Laylah’s, the spectacular podcast presented by Laylah Beattie, is back for another live show! Taking over the Bernard Shaw on Thursday, September 14, the fabulous host will invite a very special guest to the stage for a drink and chat about the topic du jour.
For this live edition of the podcast, Laylah will be joined by none other than PJ Kirby. The Corkman and former GCN cover star is a beloved Irish public figure, most known for co-presenting the iconic I’m Grand Mam podcast. With these two in conversation, laughs galore are guaranteed!
If that weren’t enough, audience members will also be treated to an amazing drag performance from the one and only Shaqira Knightly, and even some bingo offering up fabulous prizes!

The night also featured hilarious comedy from TeeVee and (you guessed it) another round of bingo!
So what are you waiting for? Tickets are on sale on Eventbrite now, with prices starting at €10. However, if you’re feeling lucky, GCN has a pair to give away to one of our lovely readers.

During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.
GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
