Competition: Win tickets to queer horror-themed Dublin Fringe show Scaredy Fat

Scaredy Fat is showing at Smock Alley Theatre from September 9-16 as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival.

Scaredy Fat, brought to you by SkelpieLimmer, written and performed by Colm McCready and showing at Smock Alley Theatre from September 9-16, is coming to the Dublin Fringe Festival 2023. And the good news doesn’t end there, as GCN has a pair of tickets to give away to not one but two lucky readers!

Scaredy’s working the late shift at the cinema. Tonight’s schedule? The horror movie sexual awakenings of yesteryear.

Stuffed with steamy recollections of Carrie and Candyman, Scaredy should be in ecstasy but evil horror host Count Calories keeps cutting in on the fun.

It’s time for Scaredy to face their fears and stop being such a big scaredy fat. We’re gonna need a bigger shirt.

Come to the movies with Scaredy as they poke fun at fat and queer representation in the horror genre, asking what it means to love a genre that doesn’t love you back.

Scaredy Fat is showing at Smock Alley Theatre from September 9-16 as part of Dublin Fringe Festival 2023. Tickets are on sale now at www.fringefest.com from €14 / €12 / €11.
