The generous jocks of the University of Warwick have released a teaser video for their 2015 calendar, which will donate a portion of the proceeds to organisations dedicated to combatting homophobia in professional sports.
The well-proportioned rowers, whose tagline is “proudly getting naked for club and community since 2009”, donated profits from last year to Sports Allies, a non profit organisation that assists young people facing homophobia, bullying and low self-esteem.
This years images appear to be on the more risqué end of the scale, and include suggestive set-ups around props such as fire trucks – with a good helping of hose handling – along with naked rowers sitting on the shoulders of their teammates.
Speaking about their charitable efforts, Warwick rower Laurence Hulse said, “We’re basically a fundraising project – the money that comes in goes straight out again. We’re not sitting on some vast pile of cash, so crowd-funding in an essential part of how we pay for production of next year’s calendars, films, and everything else”.
