Lesbians Have More Orgasms Than Straight Women

According to new research, lesbians have better sex than straight and bisexual women.

The study, conducted by the Journal of Sexual Medicine, shows that women in same-sex relationships are more likely to reach orgasm during sex and are generally more satisfied with their sex lives.

Approximately 6,500 men and women between 21 and 65 years old in the USA took part in the study, which was led by Indiana University. It found that lesbians reach orgasm 75 percent of the time when they have sex with a familiar partner, compared to 63 percent on average for heterosexual women and 58 percent for bisexual women.

Researchers who conducted the study speculate that the reason for this is because women are more comfortable with the female body and even suggested that lesbian sex “lasts longer”.

The Journal of Sexual Medicine study said, “One possible explanation is that…lesbian women are more comfortable and familiar with the female body and thus, on average, are better able to induce orgasm in their female partners.

“Findings from this large dataset of US singles suggest that women, regardless of sexual orientation, have less predictable, more varied orgasm experiences than men and that for women, but not men, the likelihood of orgasm varies with sexual orientation.

“These findings demonstrate the need for further investigations into the comparative sexual experiences and sexual health outcomes of sexual minorities.”
