Drag legend Bianca Del Rio has just announced she’s bringing her brand new solo stand-up show to Ireland in Spring 2027. Marking 30 years in drag, the self-professed ‘Clown in a Gown’ is ready to unleash her meanest streak with the no-holds-barred comedy show, It Gets Bitter.

The fabulous winner of season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Bianca Del Rio has been delighting crowds for years with her characteristic brand of outrageous humour. Fierce, funny and snarky, the drag queen is no stranger to stand-up comedy, having already toured not one, not two, but six solo comedy shows.

Now Irish fans can get ready for a unique experience, as Bianca prepares to take her newest solo show to the island. It Gets Bitter is the drag legend’s way of celebrating “30 years in drag and three decades of hating everything you stand for.”

That’s how long it took Bianca to hone her unmistakable brand of no-holds-barred comedy, and in It Gets Bitter, she will turn her razor-sharp tongue on the absurdities of modern life. The show will explore everything from pop culture and world events to “the everyday habits and behaviours that drive her to the brink”, says the official press release. No ego is too big to be deflated by Bianca’s unique humour.

Bianca’s legendary quick wit will blend with tightly written stand-up and audience interaction in what is sure to be a masterclass in insult comedy. Audiences are warned to choose their seats carefully, as no one sitting in the front row will be safe from the icon’s biting insults.

It Gets Bitter presented by Bianca del Rio is set to arrive in Ireland on April 12, 2027, for a very special night at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. If you’re eager to put yourself in the way of her lightning-fast comebacks, check out this link for more info.
