Homegrown hero Hozier is set to perform at the 57th Grammy Awards with gay icon, Annie Lennox.

This years Grammys, which take place on February 8, will see several more unique pairings including current nominees Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga; nominee Jessie J and GRAMMY winner Tom Jones; and GRAMMY winners Adam Levine (Maroon 5) and Gwen Stefani.

Grammys CEO Neil Portnow said in a statement, “Throughout the years, the Grammy Awards has paired musical icons with new, upcoming artists to give fans remarkable performances that can only be seen on our stage.

“This year is no different and once again promises to bring together unique musical worlds in innovative ways that blend genres and create new artistic boundaries,” he added.

Hozier’s breakout song Take Me To Church, which went viral for it’s pro-LGBT video message, is nominated in the Song of the Year category alongside Sia’s Chandelier, Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass and Sam Smith’s Stay With Me.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony takes place in Los Angeles’ Staples Centre on February 8.
