Missi Pyle has publicly come out as queer, stating that she is single and open to dating all genders. The American actor is known for her roles in productions like Galaxy Quest, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Gone Girl, and more recently, Sterling Point.
Pyle was appearing on Netflix’s LGBTQ+ video podcast series Shut Up Evan, when she casually shared insights into her romantic life. Chatting with host Evan Ross Katz, as well as queer singer-songwriter King Princess and Emmy-nominated TV producer Norman Baker, the actor mentioned, “I’m single, so I’m ready to get it on.”
However, she also admitted that she’s not really dating at the moment and is finding it hard to meet potential partners. Katz and King Princess joked that they would take her to Brooklyn to find someone, before King Princess checked, “Are you cool with whatever gender?”
“Yeah, I am,” Pyle replied. King Princess then quipped, “You heard it here first. Bisexual diva… Breaking news. You just came out on TV.”
The actor explained, “I would say that I’ve been mostly in heterosexual relationships, but I have had others, and I think now that I get older, I’m just sort of like I’m looking for a person, or persons.”
King Princess then said that the 53-year-old “could have a younger lesbian girlfriend. That could be kind of hot for you.”
“100%,” Pyle replied.
Katz also suggested that “poly could be fun,” which the actor agreed with, but King Princess argued that it’s “too many people”.

In response to one of the clips shared on social media, Missi Pyle commented: “this was the best day of my life with you three. i felt so happy. like deeply happy in this magical foursome. sigh. i really really want to get on a yacht with you kids and sail off into many many sunsets…”
