The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula returns for its seventh season with the iconic drag duo, Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, revealing the series’ contestants through the new Meet Our Monsters cast reveal video.
Referred to as ‘Monsters’, the contestants will have to embody the horror-themed, underground-style drag show’s four principles: drag, filth, horror, and glamour. Only then will one be crowned the coveted title of ‘The World’s Next Drag Supermonster’.
The cast includes Annie Agurl, Areal Haunting, DVVSK, Felony Dodger, Inkubus, Koochie-Koochie Ku, Krustyna Clown, Purus, Samuel Bendix, Satanna, Scythe and Vanda LaRose.
This will mark the tenth anniversary of the four-time Emmy-nominated series, which premiered on Halloween 2016. From humble punk beginnings to a network deal, award nominations and international success, the show has come a long way.

“Ten years ago, we opened the gates to our world without a roadmap, a television network or any idea of how far this strange underground experiment would take us. Today, Dragula has become an internationally recognised and Emmy-nominated franchise, but its heartbeat remains the same: fearless artists, disruptive ideas and a refusal to play it safe,” said the Boulet Brothers about Dragula‘s trajectory.
They added, “For season 7, we wanted to celebrate everything that has always made Dragula dangerous and different while pushing the series into its next era. We cast raw, hungry artists who were completely unprepared for what was waiting for them, creating a season that feels unpredictable, cinematic and alive in a way that takes us back to the beginning.”
Season 7 will see an array of special guest judges including previous Dragula winners Landon Cider, Dahli, and Asia Consent, as well as prominent figures from the horror community such as Rose McGowan, Doug Jones, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillén and many more.
Last year saw the release of the long-awaited second season of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans, which gave former contestants the opportunity to return and compete to be named ‘Queen of the Underworld’. Titans saw fan-favourite performers such as Sigourney Beaver, Abhora, Priscilla Chambers, Evah Destruction and Disasterina participate.
The first episode of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 7 will be released on Tuesday, October 27, on Shudder.
