Irish writer Sebastian Barry wrote a letter to the Irish Times about why he will vote yes in the upcoming marriage referendum.
The esteemed writer, known for A Long Long Way, wrote to the Irish Times to eloquently explain why he will vote yes in the upcoming referendum – this is not just a matter of equality for him, but an apology.
It is also a personal matter for the author, his son is part of the LGBT community and is just shy of 18; Barry will vote yes for his son, to honour him.
