Washed-up TV star Stacey Dash, who played Dionne in hit 1995 teen comedy Clueless, weighed in on said the subject of contentious bathroom laws, saying trans people should just “go in the bushes”.

In an interview on Entertainment Tonight to publicise her new book appropriately titled ‘There Goes my Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative’ Dash tooks shots at a number of targets, including Lady Gaga and Caitlyn Jenner.

Dash told ET host Nischelle Turner that Gaga’s anti-bullying campaign is a ruse for trying to promote her “liberal agenda”. “It’s true, that’s what Hollywood does. Hollywood pushes a liberal agenda to the rest of the country, and whether we like it or not Hollywood dictates the culture of the country.”

On the subject of Caitlyn Jenner, Dash was equally disparaging. “She’s saying she wants to go into the women’s bathroom – she’s a women now, go into the women’s bathroom. It’s tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can’t decide what you wanna be that day?”

“But is it a decision?” asks Turner. “I would think so. It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices.”

When Turner suggests that for many trans people, gender is not a “choice”, Dash responds by saying: “OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law, so that you can be comfortable with your beliefs — which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No.”
