In this issue of GCN we talk to the newly-crowned Rose of Tralee about the day she came out, becoming a new queer role-model in the Irish LGBT community. This issue also features the GCN Workplace Survey, surveying the LGBT issues in workplaces all over Ireland. We look at the governments decision to advance the legislation to amend act 37.1- the Employment Equality Act that allows religious-run institutions, such as schools and hospitals, to discriminate against LGBT employees. Brian Finnegan looks at the up-take in gay couples in the U.K. adopting babies, and why Irish couples should make sure to be all-informed before setting out on the journey.
